Get started
Two ways to run Devolyn Guard.
Hosted is available now: an account, a read-only GitHub App, and every pull request is checked. Self-hosted, for teams that want the whole stack on their own infrastructure, is coming soon.
Hosted · Available now
Create an account, connect GitHub.
Nothing to provision and nothing to change in your repository — no workflow file, no secrets, no tokens. The GitHub App is read-only on your code, and the gate runs on Devolyn’s servers.
Exactly what the GitHub App can and cannot do: the four permissions →
Getting started
Three steps to a working gate.
01 · Create an account
Email and a password, or Google. No card.
02 · Connect
Authorize the Devolyn Guard GitHub App on the repositories you choose.
03 · Gate live
Every pull request is checked; a RED verdict blocks the merge once you mark the check required.

How your code is handled
Read to verify, never executed.
Your changes are checked in an isolated instance we run for you — deterministic, private, and never trained on. Guard never executes your code and never writes to your repository.
Uninstall the GitHub App and your code and everything derived from it is deleted — see the Privacy Policy.

- Repository host
- GitHub
- In your repository
- Nothing to change — no workflow file, no secrets, no tokens
- Permissions
- A GitHub App that is read-only on your code

Your code never leaves your network.
Status
Self-hosted: coming soon — contact [email protected]
The packages are private while we finish this path, so there is nothing to download here yet. Write to us if you need self-hosted and we will talk through timing. Hosted is available today.
What it sets up
A complete stack on one host.
- Docker Engine and Docker Compose, if they are not already installed
- The Devolyn Guard services: verification API, dashboard, PostgreSQL and Redis
- An nginx reverse proxy with TLS termination in front of the services
- The append-only, hash-chained audit trail and its integrity checks
- Health-gated startup, so the stack only reports ready when every service is
Requirements
Linux host with sudo.
- Host
- A Linux server or VM you administer
- Privileges
- sudo, to install Docker and bind the proxy ports
- Docker
- Installed automatically if it is missing
- Network
- Outbound access during install only; nothing is sent to Devolyn afterwards
